In order to qualify for the Outstanding Service Award, your chapter must complete one (1) of the following three (3) initiatives:
- Make a Difference Day (MADD) - held on the 4th Saturday in October
- Blood Drive
- Provincial Initiative (see below)

Provincial Selected Community Service Initiatives
This initiative is selected annually by your PVP or Provincial Chair and is voted for approval at Provincial LEAD. Contact your Provincial Chair with any questions with respect to your Provincial Initiative.
- Northeastern - American Cancer Society
- South Central - Ronald McDonald House
- Southern - Verizon Hope Line
- Western - W.E.S.T Where Everyone Serves Together. Initiative will focus on a "hands-on" service event that leads to the beautification of a community or university or that serves members of that community or university (e.g. beach clean-up, planting trees, Habitat for Humanity, etc.).
- North Central - Relay for Life
