The national administrative headquarters of Delta Sigma Pi is the Central
Office. It was established in Chicago, Illinois, in 1924 where it remained until the
fall of 1956 when it was moved to 330 South Campus Avenue in Oxford, Ohio (near
Cincinnati) and its own building. The Executive Director is in charge of the
Central Office and has a full-time staff, including a Director of Finance and Administration, Director of Chapter and Expansion Services, Executive Vice President of
the Leadership Foundation, Director of Education and Communications, Director of
Information Services, Assistant Director of Communications, Membership Services Coordinator,
Educational and Leadership Consultants and administrative personnel.
An ever-increasing computer
network is employed to expedite the routine of the Central Office and the handling
of thousands of inquiries responded to annually. The Fraternity database contains
information for every member initiated, as well as historical data and records. The
library of the Central Office contains files on schools of business administration
in the United States, copies of all issues of The DELTASIG and bound membership
records for every member of Delta Sigma Pi from the very founding of the Fraternity
in 1907.
Over one hundred different items of jewelry,
chapter supplies, forms and manuals are stocked by the Central Office for the use of collegiate
and alumni chapters and individual members. The DELTASIG, official bulletins, all manuals and
other Fraternity publications are edited and distributed by the Central Office.
The Central Office is geographically located in the heart of the Fraternity's activities. The headquarters
building is adjacent to the Miami University campus which affords a true college atmosphere
