Collegiate chapters are to elect one Congress delegate and two alternates prior to the end of their academic term before Congress - and to report them to the Central Office before July 1. Alumni chapters are to elect and report their representatives before July 1. Only those delegates and alternates reported to the Central Office by July 1 receive official communications related to legislation or elections.
The official delegate and alternates are responsible for keeping the Central Office informed of any changes in their contact information prior to the Grand Chapter Congress. The official delegate is responsible for immediately notifying both the Central Office staff and the first alternate in the event that he or she cannot attend the Grand Chapter Congress. For complete details, refer to Policy Section M, 1 through 5.
For Collegiate Chapters: As the submitter of this appointment, I certify the official delegate and the alternates are in good standing and will be eligible to participate as collegiate members of our chapter after the Grand Chapter Congress.
For Alumni Chapters: As the submitter of this appointment, I certify the official delegate and the alternates are in good standing and are members of our franchised alumni chapter.
At a meeting of our chapter at which a quorum of the membership was present, the following were elected as the official delegate and alternates who will represent our chapter at the Grand Chapter Congress of the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi.
